Our History

The building that holds both Greens and The Vaughan was once Vaughan’s Tire and Appliance beginning in 1947 and into the mid-80’s. It was a family owned business. Pictures of the past staff and business are displayed in The Vaughan to convey the rich history of the building.

The Vaughan Garage- Offers a Casual Dining Experience, with a Full Bar, a Unique 21 Tap Self-Serve Beer Wall, Live Entertainment plus Indoor & Outdoor Seating.  

Featuring a dine in or carry out menu of the best pub faire, burgers, flatbreads, quesadillas, wings, chili and more for dinner, lunch, and a full menu of breakfast items for weekend brunch.  

The Vaughan Garage has a full bar with mixed drinks, specialty cocktails and a "one of a kind" 21 tap self-serve beer wall.  Choose from 21 different beers, ciders, & seasonal selections.    

Enjoy outdoor seating options (weather permitting) on either our covered front porch or open and airy back patio with some of the best views of downtown Lynchburg.

The Vaughan Garage offers free parking for our customers in our connected and adjacent lots with access from 12th, 11th, and Main Street(s). (Parking Map) coming soon with additional on street and in lot parking available throughout downtown (free evenings after 5pm & all weekend).
